Current needs

Thank you for helping our guests and their little ones! 💙💛

The Mother’s Home is a place of long-term help. We want pregnant women and mothers of babies to provide a safe space where they will not have to worry about the next day and what will happen in a moment. Their children, whether unborn or just born, need all their attention and care in this first stage of their lives.
Therefore, there is not much rotation at our point, which means that some needs satisfied once do not come back. For example, once we equip our mothers and grandmothers (because we also host two grandmothers!) with clothes, they will not need them again until the current ones are worn down 🙂

Therefore, the vast majority of our needs are consumables or help with the provision of various types of assistance.

At the very bottom of this page, we will put a Facebook post in which we will keep updating what we need from the current things.

Our girls are at home around the clock, but due to the night silence and the large number of small children, we will be grateful for delivering the goods no later than 10 pm. ❤

You are not there and you want to help? Everything is possible!

If you cannot come to us personally with goods, you can still help us look after our hospitality. How to do it?

For example, you can:
– order the items needed by our guests with delivery directly to the Home (you can do it, for example, via Allegro, Amazon or other online stores),
– order food products, vegetables and fruits through frisco.pl or another mail order supermarket with delivery directly to us,
– pay for medicines or dental visits for our guests and their children. We work with a pharmacy to which you can make a direct transfer and which, on your behalf, provides our guests with the necessary help!

If you want to help in any of the above-mentioned ways, please contact our Humanitarian Aid Coordinator – Anna Kłos in advance, to coordinate activities so that they are as effective as possible 🙂

Do you want to support us financially?

Many of our guests’ needs require payment on the spot. Sometimes we need an express medical visit, purchase of expensive prescription drugs, or a taxi ride to visit a sick child … That is why financial support is also very useful to us. In the case of more expensive equipment (such as a clothes dryer now), it is easier for us to collect the necessary amount from several people than to find one that could pay for the purchase …

Therefore, if you want to provide us with such opportunities or you simply have no idea how to support us otherwise – you can make a donation to the Other Space Foundation for the Mother’s Home.

Where to make donations?

Our sub-account (PLN) at the Foundation has the number: 25 2130 0004 2001 0374 4232 0014  (Volkswagen Bank Direct)

If you want to make a transfer in a currency other than PLN, you can do it to the following numbers:
IBAN (USD): PL74105010121000009030826342
IBAN (EUR): PL21105010121000009030826326
(ING Bank)

You can also transfer money via Paypal.

Remember! If you make a transfer to accounts in currencies other than PLN or via PayPal, be sure to write “For Dom Matki (Warsaw)” in the title of the transfer.

If you just want to help our guests - we will always find a method so that you can do it according to your abilities 💙💛 Remember that every, even the smallest gesture is of great importance to us. Every day we are able to act and put this whole picture together thanks to every single person who wants to be with us in it! So thanks to people ... like you! ❤

If you want to bring us gifts, please remember to: – textile and bedding items are clean and washed, – the food products had a long shelf life, – the clothes you hand over were in good condition (the same as you would like to wear) and adapted to the current season of the year (unfortunately we do not have such storage capacity to store things that we cannot use right away), – the equipment that you want to hand over to the guest service (e.g. kettles, thermometers) were rather reliable – such things are used in our company much more frequently than in households, so less durable things can quickly break down, so if you have the opportunity, we will be grateful for fewer, but more reliable ones. In the case of clothes brought to us, we give our guests the opportunity to freely choose what they need, and then we transfer unnecessary things to the next point or foundation so that nothing you decide to bring to us is wasted.
