Volunteering

Do you want to help our guests by volunteering?

There are many ways to help our guests from Ukraine. Below we present only a few of them that are the most important for us so far.

When you don't know Ukrainian or Russian ...

You can come help us sort things in the warehouse, check inventory, keep order in the house, and help our guests with their daily activities.

When you know the language...

You are the most valuable volunteer for us, because despite 3 full-time Ukrainian-speaking employees, every day we answer hundreds of questions and provide answers to thousands of doubts, so everyone who can support us in this is worth the weight in gold!

In addition, our guests really want to learn Polish, so if you are able to help them with it, they will be very grateful 🙂

If you like children you are a kindergarten teacher or teacher ....

You can help us organize the time for our children. All workshops and activities are very welcome! We have a small day room where you can conduct, for example, art workshops. We also have a large playground, which is a great place for physical activities 🙂

To help us ...

You can count on the fact that during your first presence at the House we will sign an agreement on volunteering for the House (our volunteers are managed by the Other Space Foundation). You will then receive a personal ID from us. Whenever you are at home, you are covered by accident insurance.

If you plan to be a volunteer with us related to particularly sensitive issues, e.g. legal or health – we will also try to provide you with third party liability insurance.

If you come to us as part of employee volunteering, or for any reasons you need confirmation of presence with us, report it to the employee on site – we will immediately issue the appropriate document 🙂

Also remember that in order to work (also voluntarily!) You need to eat and drink, so always go ahead and take some water or something to eat if you work with us for a longer time. 💙💛

Thank you for helping us and our guests!
